Spiritual Youth Program

If we are to teach real peace in the world… we shall have to begin with the children.

We are all children of God, regardless of race, age, creed, or religion. It is from this context of spiritual wholeness and oneness that we provide spiritual interfaith teachings for our youth at the Circle of Spiritual Enlightenment. Our youth program includes learning opportunities based on core human values and truth based teachings found in the world’s great religious traditions. Each Sunday, we focus on a weekly theme, including: Uniqueness, Loving, Compassion, Creation in Mind, Creation in Action, Oneness, Peace, Love, and Joy.

Our typical schedule is:

Offering

Affirmation

Yoga

Meditation (short)

Story time to go with the theme

Arts and Crafts project, (for example: drawing, collage, play dough, craft sticks, foods)

The current program is designed for children ages 4 and up. Younger children can attend with a caregiver, or if they are able to sit at a desk, listen to a story and participate in the craft activity. We are always striving to expand our programs at the Circle and will keep you posted as we provide youth teaching for both younger children and teens.
