Dear Wise-Woman,
Thank-you for making the Central Coast’s Annual Women’s Symposium a very successful event. This year’s theme: “Women of Wisdom, Midwifing Conscious Change” received a whopping 90% “Excellent” rating on the feedback surveys. We were honored to have so many loving, creative and empowered women join together in the same place at the same time.
Keynote speaker, Jean Shinoda Bolen, shared her infinite wisdom, including the power of women’s circles from her book The Millionth Circle: How to Change Ourselves and The World–The Essential Guide to Women’s Circles.

This year’s symposium exceeded last year’s event, and I thought that was as good as it gets. Janet R.
After hearing Jean Bolen speak, I felt inspired with hope, knowing that so many women are committed to making a meaningful difference on our planet. Central Coast Annual Women’s Symposium
At the September 2009 Vancouver Peace Summit, the Dalai Lama affirmed: “The world will be saved by the western woman.” This belief has been echoed by other evolutionary leaders such as Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Jean Houston, and the list goes on…
Women are on the precipice of shifting the consciousness of this planet. Countless people are feeling the inner urge to reconnect with their feminine selves, to align with their heart and soul in a way as never experienced in our lifetime.

About Jean:
Jean Shinoda Bolen, M.D., is a psychiatrist, Jungian analyst, and an internationally known author and speaker who draws from spiritual, feminist, Jungian, medical and personal wellsprings of experience. She is the author of Like A Tree: How Trees, Women, and Tree People Can Save the Planet (2011), The Tao of Psychology, Goddesses in Everywoman, Gods in Everyman, Ring of Power, Crossing to Avalon, Close to the Bone, The Millionth Circle, Goddesses in Older Women, Crones Don’t Whine and Urgent Message from Mother. She is a major advocate for a United Nations 5th World Conference on Women, a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, a former clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of California at San Francisco, and past board member of the Ms. Foundation for Women and the International Transpersonal Association. Women’s Symposium 2011
The first women’s symposium in March, 2011, was a HUGE SUCCESS. Our keynote speaker was Barbara Marx Hubbard, a visionary, social innovator, author, educator and leader in the new world view of conscious evolution. Barbara has worked closely with some of the great innovators of our time such as Dr. Jonas Salk, Abraham Maslow, and the great Buckminster Fuller who said of Barbara, “she is the best informed human now alive regarding futurism and the foresights it has produced.”
